Author and illustrator Nina Laden gave workshops at Westgate for students in kindergarten through third grade on February 20 as part of Young Author's Day.
She has written and illustrated many books, such as The Night I Followed My Dog and Pigasso and Mootisse. Students learned how she creates her books and also drawing tips for creating dog characters.
