Time for a New School Year in the Library!

Bandicoot and Mimi are ready for the start of the school year.

It's time to go back to school and here's news from the Westgate Library

• The library is now has Open Check Out time from 8:20-8:40 every morning before school.  It is time to check out books or quietly read.
• The district has provided $10 per student for new library resources this year, so the collection will be expanded and updated in many ways.  Tell Ms. W if you have suggestions.
• Volunteers are needed in the library to help with check out during K-3 library classes and also with shelving and other tasks.  Talk to Ms. Wittmann in the library if you are interested.
• Preschool time in the library is Tuesday 8:20-8:40am.  Preschool age children in the Westgate community can hear a story and check out with an adult.  Bilingual Spanish preschool time on some Tuesdays.
