Westgate Students Vote for Book Awards

Lulu votes for her favorite WCCPBA nominee

All K-3 students voted for their favorite book of twenty nominees for the  2018 Washington Children's Choice Picture Award during library class this week.  They have been read and have done lessons on the books during the past several months.
Students in grades 4-6 who have been reading nominees for the 2018 Sasquatch Award and the 2018 Young Reader's Choice Award also voted for their favorite this week.  Many of these students are in the Best Books Club and will compete in the district Battle of the Books on June 1.
