Students Interviewed About Donated Books
Four Westgate students were interviewed today by local television and newspapers about six books that were donated to nine elementary school libraries in the district to promote diversity. The third graders, Anisa and Simon, highly recommend A Different Place about an immigrant family. First graders Seaya and Kashya recommend We're All Wonders which is a picture book by the author of Wonder the chapter book. Thank you to Edmonds Diversity Commission for donating the books. You can check them out at the Westgate Library!
