Author of Emmanuel's Dream to Visit!

Laurie Ann Thompson, the author of Emmanuel's Dream, will be visiting Westgate on January 10th to talk to students.  The book is the true story of a boy born in Ghana with one deformed leg, who overcame adversity to achieve his goals and help others.
She will presenting to all students at four different assemblies during the day.  Information about ordering the book was sent home to families.  The author will be available for autographs at lunch recess in the library.
