Author Lois Brandt Visits Westgate Nov. 27-30

   Lois Brandt, author of Maddi's Fridge, will be visiting 1st - 6th grade classes November 27-30 to talk about the book and also how everyone can help people in their community who need food.
   She will be talking with students about her writing process and also how Maddi's Fridge was inspired by an event in her life.  Students will be doing writing projects as part of Young Author's Day and there will be a school-wide food drive.
