Westgate celebrated their second annual Leadership Day on March 26th. After an assembly led by students, visitors toured the school. In the library Library Leaders showed visitors their jobs, such as cleaning, magazines, and shelving. Three sixth graders explained about Best Book Club which they created for students during recess. Some second graders also showed off their Leadership notebooks. Westgate encourages leadership every day in every student and Leadership Day is a way for students to share leadership with the community.
